One day, wrinkled dress shirts will be all the rage. Until then, I’ll be fighting with the iron.  I’m totally incompetent when it comes to smoothing out clothing. If I don’t inadvertently iron in permanent creases, I accidentally rip a sleeve, or (once) light the ironing board on fire.

And don’t even try to tell me to buy “wrinkle-free” shirts. They don’t work. Once it spends a week under a pile of clothes in my room it’s just as wrinkled as everything. I call that false advertising.

Why is having smoothed out clothing so important, anyway? I mean, a wrinkled shirt is every bit as functional as a smooth one. The only explanation for the fashion is that people think it’s cool to spend hours running hot metal over fabric. People are dumb.
